Noble Gas Separation using Metal Organic Frameworks at Low Temperature

摘要

High surface area MOF samples were synthesizedand characterized for separating off-gases at lowtemperatures. The CuBTC MOF shows 5x loadingcapacity towards Xe than any other material knownto date at low temperatures. The temperature needsto be optimized to have maximum adsorption athigher temperatures than – 78 °C.
