摘要

The flanks of Hawaiian volcanoes are highly unstable. This instability has been linked to thepresence of ductile, creeping olivine cumulate bodies acting as a driving force for flankdisplacement. This study investigates Hawaiian cumulate bodies using a variety of analyticaltechniques on olivine crystals erupted in rift and summit lavas at Kilauea Volcano.
