A simple numerical method has been proposed to predict tilting andsettlement of detached house due to ground liquefaction. SPH(Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics) scheme was used for this object. Inorder to confirm the validity of the proposed numerical tool, we carriedout a numerical simulation for the model shaking table test. Low noiseand low vibration construction machine was then manufactured to satisfythe performance requirements for the construction in urban residentialareas. The special designed drain pipe was used as a drainage pipe forthe proposed countermeasure.
