The three-dimensional numerical model was established differentlayouts of the heating source, and the heating process of crude oil in acargo tank is numerically simulated. Heat flow characteristics ofdifferent areas were analyzed under different heating conditions,including a single-heating tube, a double-heating tube and a double-layerheating tube. The results show that the natural convection pattern and thetemperature inhomogeneity will change in the same area under differentheating source layout conditions, which will have an impact on the finalheating effect.
