The clear-water scour around a tripod foundation in uniform bed sedimentunder steady current was investigated experimentally in this study.Two flow rates and three incident flow angles were taken into consideration.With the high flow velocity, the maximum scour depth around thetripod foundation was 2.5D, which was significantly larger than the resultsof monopile under the same condition. The maximum scour deptharound tripod model varied with dierent flow rates and incident flowangles. Also, the position where the maximum scour occurs dependedon both flow rates and incident flow angle.
