Response Analysis of Seine Boat due to Sloshing of Fuel-freshwater

The research about the sloshing inside liquid tanks and the consequentboat’s motions always attract much attention. Based on thethree-dimensional potential flow theory and by means of analyzing theseine boat’s motion under various working conditions, thehydrodynamic coefficients are obtained in frequency domain. Bycomparing the motion responses of seine boat under the sloshing andnon-sloshing conditions respectively, it is found that liquid sloshingplays an important role in reducing the boat roll. Through the responsecomparison of seine boat’s motion in different wave angles, it is foundthat the roll motion is sensitive to the variation of wave angles and thatthe seine boat’s resonance frequency shifts attributing to the change oftotal filling rate and the order of fuel-freshwater consumption process.The consumption order and the liquid consumption residual havedifferent effects on the seine boat’s motion. Subsequently, a suitableconsumption sequence is suggested, providing a reference for thepractical loading process, consumption process and motion responseanalysis of seine boat.
