Use of 3D laser scanning for digital reconstruction and physical replication of sculptural monuments

摘要

The brief overview of most important case studies concerned with use of laser techniques for documentation, replicationand reconstruction of out-door sculptural monuments in St.Petersburg city is presented. Use of 3D laser scanning incombination with computer modelling and use of CNC milling machines and additive technologies open new perspectivein Cultural Heritage preservation.
