The Center for Nanosatellite Testing (CeNT) at Kyushu Institute of Technology has eight years of experience capable ofproviding space environment testing for lean satellites up to 50 kg. CeNT researchers aim to strike the right balancebetween cost, reliability and fast operation time for thermal vacuum testing of lean satellites. To promote the advance oflean satellite thermal vacuum test, a thermal vacuum testing device which utilizes Peltier technology is developed andtested in a vacuum chamber. The temperature range of the thermal vacuum testing device was acquired as a result ofanalyzed on-orbit temperature data of 100 lean satellites launched from 2012 to 2018 into an altitude of 400 km to 800km were collected and analyzed. This paper will provide the graphical analysis of the on-orbit temperature data profilefrom 2012 to 2018 and the design, development of the testing device and experiment result under thermal vacuumcondition.
