The ACEEE International Scorecard Self-Scoring Tool is an analytictool that helps users develop a high-level snapshot of theoverall energy efficiency of a nation, state, or province. The toolis based on the 2012 ACEEE International Energy EfficiencyScorecard, which analyzed and ranked 12 of the world’s largesteconomies on their overall energy efficiency. This tool allowsusers to perform similar analyses on countries of their choiceand compare those results with the 12 economies analyzed byACEEE. This tool is unique in that in addition to compilingkey information specifically addressing the energy efficiencyof a country, it provides complementary resources and analysishighlighting best practices and opportunities to improve whileproviding a benchmark with which a country’s progress towardimproving its energy efficiency can be compared.
