摘要

One method for measuring the extensional vicosity of non-Newtonian liquids is to stretch a constant volume liquid bridge between two identical circular disks which are separated at a prescribed rate. The idealized homogeneous extensional deformation of such a liquid bridge is only possible in microgravity where gravitational constraints are absent and the flow is dominated by interfacial tension forces and viscous forces.
