Many software projects have failed because their requirements werepoorly negotiated among stakeholders. Requirements negotiation is morecritical than other factors such as tools, process maturity, and designmethods. The WinWin negotiation model successfully supports generalrequirements negotiation. However, making decisions to evaluatealternatives is still an ad-hoc process. This paper presents asystematic model, called Multi-Criteria Preference Analysis RequirementsNegotiation (MPARN) to assist stakeholders to evaluate, negotiate andagree upon alternatives among stakeholders using multi-criteriapreference analysis techniques
