Connection rerouting is an important function for handoffprocessing in connection-oriented mobile communication networks. Severalmethods have been proposed for the connection rerouting, but they arelacking in generality and flexibility. In this paper, we propose ageneral model of connection rerouting, based on connection information,which is provided to mobile terminals through connection recording. Thegenerality and flexibility of the proposed method is purely from theconnection information
