Green's theorem has been applied to the problem of wind tunnelwall interference. A wall pressure method for test sections ofrectangular cross sections has been completed, which can be used for thecomputation of wall interferences, wall adaptation and, in case ofadaptive test sections, for residual wall interferences. For thesecases, a single computational step is sufficient. Measurements in thetransonic wind tunnel TWG of DLF Gottingen with adjustable longitudinalslots on the top and bottom walls show that for this special applicationthe determination of residual wall interference is also reliable. Testdata, e.g., force coefficients, can be corrected to be approximatelyinterference-free, using the residual interference velocities. Aftercorrection, the discrepancies between test data from different slotwidths were substantially reduced
