A newly developed high-performance 3Φ CVCF power conversionconditioner incorporating a novel quasi-resonant DC link (QRDCL)single-phase inverter with pulse width modulation (PWM) function andhigh-frequency AC transformer linked cycloconverter topology ispresented. The operating characteristics of the proposed QRDCL inverterare discussed on the basis of computer-aided simulation results. Inorder to achieve a significant improvement in high performance and quickcontrol response, a specially designed voltage pulse distributed vectorcontrol modulation scheme is introduced employing a digital signalprocessing software-based control implementation
