The influence of wind turbines on the power quality and theirinteraction with the grid has led to the development of measurementsystems and evaluation procedures dedicated to such applications. Twodifferent measurement systems have been developed at CRES for measuringand analysing the quality of the power produced from grid connected windturbines. Both systems have been designed in order to meet the MEASNETrequirements. These measurement requirements have been proposed in theframework of the EU project “European Wind Turbine StandardsII” and comply with the prerequisites of the relevant powerquality IEC standards, modified to address the special aspects of windturbine applications. In the present paper, the wind turbine powerquality evaluation procedure, the measurement equipment and thedifferent measurement procedures used are described. The assessment ofthe performance of the systems is accomplished through measurements on a110 kW wind turbine, operating at CRES' Test Station. The results arepresented and compared
