The authors present the reflection and transmissioncharacteristics of radio waves at the reinforced concrete (RC) slab ofbuildings. The purpose of this study is to formulate the reflection andtransmission characteristics of RC slab at various realistic conditions,for the effective use of mobile communications systems inside and fromoutside to inside of buildings. The object frequencies for this studyare about 300 MHz-3.5 GHz, considering such current mobile communicationsystems. They analyzed these characteristics by numerical andexperimental methods
