摘要

A susceptibility test of devices exposed to the electromagneticenvironment of the system requires 20 dB safety margins. In order toverify these there are several test methods based on measuring the RFcurrent. flowing through the EED. The involvement of the measuringsensor in the EED's circuit causes problems of electromagnetic energypenetration through the sensor's wires and thus the accuracy of thecurrent measurement is degraded. The suggested test method eliminatesthis problem by replacing the EED with a fuse. If the fuse is not blownduring the test, it is understood that the maximum current is less thenindicated by the fuse data sheet, and this current is used in evaluationof the safety margins
