Methodology guidelines on the types of measurements and analysesrequired to evaluate the radio-frequency (RF) susceptibility of militarysystems to high-power microwave (HPM) radiation are presented. Themethodology is designed to provide a framework for obtaining maximum HPMradiation susceptibility information. By following this methodology, theDepartment of Defense community will be able to incorporate theresultant information into a shared national database. This databasewill provide validated, verified susceptibility information for thecommunity, making is possible to minimize the costly, unneededre-evaluation of systems. The major modules comprising the methodologyare described, including pretest analysis, low-power microwave tests,initial susceptibility assessment and test planning, high-powermicrowave tests, and susceptibility assessment and test evaluation
