The paper deals with multifactor surface aging of post insulatorsmade of different types of resins, hardeners and fillers, which arestressed longtime simultaneously by high electrical a.c. field strengthand condensation. Test setups, realized with a multitude of arrangementof simplified inverse climatic chambers, and relevant diagnostic toolsused to evaluate the insulation behaviour are presented. Finally,selected test results obtained after 5000 h aging are discussed
