Studies on the effect of influencing factors on conditionmonitoring of HV substation equipment

A new on-line insulation monitoring system for HV instrumenttransformers, power transformers, bushings and MOA is presented first.Then the influence of some factors on the monitored results is analyzedthrough experiments. The influencing factors include potentialtransformers, adjacent phase apparatus and ambient factors. Based on theexperimental results and analyses, an online insulation diagnosis expertsystem for HV apparatus is developed
