Actions carried out by the French contractor's association `SERCE'to improve safety on electrical installations

After a brief presentation of the SERCE organisation and duties,the author shows that the SERCE has been promoting, for a long time, asafety and accident prevention policy for its members. The results ofthese actions have been characterized by an improvement of statisticaldata but a still more powerful effort had to be made to the extend theaccident prevention spirit in working places. In this regard a campaignon safety in work places was launched in September 1992 and its firstconclusions are presented here
