PV001 streak image tube with an oxide photocathode for application in electron diffraction experiments

Abstract: streak image tube supplied with an atmosphereresistant (AlMgCu)O$-x$/ photocathode is reported.Quantum efficiency of such a photocathode beingirradiated by 5 ps light pulses at 354 nm wavelength isup to 10$+$MIN@3$/. It is shown that this photocathodemay be exposed for many cycles ($GRT 20) of airadmittance without losses in its quantum efficiency. Itis believed that the PV001/oxide tube may be used inelectron diffraction experiments. !10
