Dual-focus high-speed photography and its application to fracture and impact studies

Abstract: works in the authors' laboratory are reviewed onconstruction and application of a dual focus high speedcamera, a modified Cranz-Schardin camera. This paperfirst describes the camera system and then applicationsto several kinds of dynamic fracture tests and a ballimpact test. !2
