High-speed generators are actively developing due to their high specific mass-energy characteristics due to high frequency. The axial flow generator has some advantages over the radial flow generator. For this reason, it was chosen for this project. One of the most important parts of a high-speed generator is the bearing, which provides the required system rigidity, minimum mechanical losses and long service life. This article discusses a passive magnetic bearing for a high-speed generator with an axial flow of a permanent magnet. Magnetostatic calculations were performed using the Ansys Maxwell system. The bearing capacity is investigated depending on the gap between the inner and outer rings of the bearing. The bearing capacity is considered depending on the displacement between the axis of the inner ring and the axis of the outer ring of the bearing. A fluctuation in load-bearing capacity was detected and explained. This study lays the groundwork for further research.
