the paper considers the possibility of optimizing the electric modes in electric arc furnaces of various capacities and classes operating at the existing metallurgical enterprises of Russia. The authors analysed the choice correctness of balancing coefficients and parameters for non-linear regulator by the example of SF-125 arc steel-making furnace, furnace with continuous charge loading by conveyor EAF-120, as well as a furnace with charge loading through the divertible arc EAF-180. The article proposes the recommendations on furnace energy performance improvement on the basis of the conducted analysis, and also the authors give the received technical effect estimation, expressed in operation time reduction under current and specific power consumption.
