A Real-Time Scheduling Strategy of Microgrid Considering Operation Interval Division of DGs and Batteries

Real-time scheduling as an on-line optimization must produce dispatch results in real time, however, it is often contradictory between reducing calculation time and improving economy. In response to the real-time scheduling problem, a realtime scheduling strategy considering operation interval division of distributed generators (DGs) and batteries is proposed in this paper. The rolling scheduling models including day-ahead scheduling and hours-ahead scheduling are established, in which the hours-ahead scheduling takes future SOC deviations into account. In real-time scheduling, the output powers of DGs are divided into two intervals based on the ability to track the dayahead and hours-ahead schedule. The day-ahead and hoursahead scheduling ensures the economy and real-time scheduling keeps the calculation timeliness. Finally, a grid-connected microgrid example is studied, and the simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy in economy and timeliness.
