The work presents the use of numerical methods for automatic analysis of the intrinsic safety of electrical equipment circuits operating in an explosive atmosphere. The presented analysis of the ability to ignite by heating is one of the elements of the self-assessment of safety in accordance with applicable standards IEC 60079. The paper describes the basic requirements for the components of electrical circuits, provides examples for analysis and its results. The presented results confirmed the correctness of the used approach and showed the scale of the problem of manual intrinsic safety assessment analysis for complex circuits.
