In sugar factory, the primary juice that is produced from extraction mill is highly impure with a low pH value. The control of pH value of sucrose solution is a crucial task as the purity and colour of final sugar crystals is strictly decided by it. For this, a controlled amount of milk of lime is mixed with it to bring pH value to the desired level. For the design of this control system, a mathematical model of the considered process is required. A neurofuzzy system is an amalgamation of fuzzy logic and neural network. An attempt has been made to obtain a Neuro-Fuzzy model of this process in the present paper using the ANFIS technique of MATLAB.
