PugCal Calibration Software for PUG-02 Model Portable Ultrasonic Powermeter

Ultrasound devices used in the health sector are divided into two as diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. The powers produced by these devices are applied directly to the human body with probes. Therefore, the probes must be calibrated according to the defined standards to verify that the power values are safe and at the specified performance. For this reason, a portable ultrasonic power meter device was designed and manufactured by our laboratory. Before the power measurements of the produced device, it should be calibrated with reference masses and the specified calibration coefficients should be recorded on the device. For this purpose, automatic calibration software of the device was made and verification procedures were carried out.
