As the resolution of a telescope is directly connected to the diameter of its aperture, and its sensitivity to extended structures - to its fulfillment - high fidelity observations of not-so-angularly-big galaxies, and their low-quantity systems at low frequencies were considered difficult for a long time. Thanks to the introduction of metrewave-oriented instruments, like large systems of mesh antennas, or phased dipole arrays, such observations are becoming possible, and numerous scientific projects make now use of instruments like the LOw Frequency ARray (LOFAR), Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT), or the Murchison Widefield Array (MWA). Here I present preliminary results obtained for a small galaxy group, the Stephan's Quintet, with the GMRT and LOFAR.
