摘要

5G mobile communication systems use electromagnetic (EM) waves in the 28 GHz. The EM waves are scattered in a specular direction with sharp beam width by walls and radio waves in this frequency band is large propagation loss. If there are object for shielding EM waves between the receiver and transmitter inside the room, the quality of the wireless communication systems is deteriorated because of the received antenna can receive neither direct waves, reflected nor scattered waves. In this research, an EM scattering wall will be designed on the basic of array antenna theory to reduce unreachable area and to improve the quality of wireless communications in the room. Finally, the performance of the designed EM scattering wall is evaluated in terms of diffusion coefficients.
