摘要

In this paper, a lossless compression technique has been proposed with the help of discrete 2-D wavelet transformation (single level) over audio signal. Compressed audio data is achieved using quantization followed by Huffman encoding. In this approach, audio is compressed without losing any information. Experimental results are supported with statistical parameters for justifying compression quality comparing with existing lossless techniques.
