The paper presents the results of studies of unbalanced coefficients for zero and reverse sequences for phase-wise compensation of reactive power in 0,4 kV networks. For this purpose, the studied coefficients were calculated before and after reactive power compensation. The calculation of the voltage unbalanced coefficients for reverse and zero sequences was carried out using known approximate formulas. The analysis of the obtained results shows that, when compensating, the values of the voltage unbalanced coefficients for reverse and zero sequences can be reduced. It leads to a reduction of energy losses, and can be taken into account as an additional positive contribution to the reduction of total electricity losses during reactive power compensation.
