摘要

The performance of a solar system depends on certain environmental variables, particularly the intensity of the irradiance. Partial shading reduces the energy efficiency of PV systems. Indeed the shading of one of the PV cells put in series causes a sharp decrease in the solar current produced by the photovoltaic module, and the characteristic of the PV generator becomes more complex and has multiple peaks. It is therefore important to understand and predict shading effects in order to optimize the use of PV systems and emulators. This paper proposes mathematical modeling of the PV modules under partial shading based on the electrical circuit model. Four methods are compared to find the model that better describes the experimental current-voltage characteristics of photovoltaic modules under partial shading.
