Proposal of a General Framework of Smart Factory

摘要

Industry 4.0 represents the new generation of manufacturing industry; this concept adjoins the latest technological advances to efficiently optimize automation systems. This industrial revolution, whose genesis took place in Germany, brings a multitude of innovations related to processes, structures and flows of information among others.The purpose of this modest work is twofold: first, to identify the work done on the concept of Industry 4.0, decipher the main layers of the new paradigm, and establish a clear link between smart manufacturing and data within a global perception of the concept. Secondly focus on the core of Industry 4.0 seen as Smart factory, design a wide framework and propose a general architecture divided on three main layers whose objective is to explain the link between the operational and managerial levels in an intelligent ecosystem..
