Research on Digital Protection and Dissemination Technology of Dingzhou Confucian Temple

Dingzhou Confucian Temple is a key cultural relic protection unit in Hebei Province, and its digital protection has important historical and cultural value. Based on its architectural characteristics and cultural connotation, the digital information of the architectural layout, the appearance and structure of the main buildings such as dachengdian is collected. The collected 2D and 3D data are integrated and processed by point cloud registration, point cloud denoising, point cloud sampling and other technologies, and the virtual roaming system is developed. With the developed and released virtual roaming system, visitors can vividly appreciate the Confucian Temple. The interpretation system for Dingzhou Confucian Temple can be applied for all-around demonstration and dissemination, to carry forward and propagate its cultural and architectural connotations. Digital protection of the Confucian Temple is a perfect combination of architectural cultural heritage and information technology.
