In this paper we consider methods for designing a cutting filter with a suppression of more than 100 dB at a frequency of 2.45 GHz serving as an absorption chamber at the input and output of the product in an industrial conveyor installation of high-power microwave heating with a working chamber consisting of parallel sections of grooved waveguides. The input and output filters of the installation are made of supersized segments of rectangular waveguides with capacitive diaphragms. Strict electrodynamic and approximate methods of analysis with optimization are given.
