System analysis of Si-photonic receivers for differential phase shift quantum key distribution protocols

We present a system-level analysis for a differential phase shift (DPS) quantum key distribution protocol implemented in silicon photonics technology. We estimate the secure key rate versus link length for different types of single-photon detectors and optical coupling components employed in the DPS receivers.
