摘要

Improvement of power quality in grid interfaced system is the main concern in the present power system. This paper proposes a concept of custom power device to improve the reliability of system and its quality. PV system is one of the more reliable and efficient distributed generation (DG) system, because freely available in nature and economical as compared to others and implemented in grid. To extract maximum energy from the PV system, a cuckoo search algorithm implemented to control the dc-dc converter of the DG system. And also, a fuzzy logic is implemented to regulate de link voltage of custom power device. The proposed DG system with Cuckoo MPPT and also with fuzzy based custom power device(CPD) is tested in MATLAB.
