In view of the development trend of modern power electronic technology towards miniaturization and high frequency, the high frequency switch brings the switching loss state of devices. This research proposes a load commutation soft-switching inverter based on IR2104. The load of the transformer uses appropriate resonant components to realize automatic inverter switching of the inverter power supply to turn off the IGBT, which reduces the turn-on and turn-off losses. Simultaneously, the chip is utilized to understand the chip of the driving circuit and lessen the size of the inverter. Under the operational status of the circuit via simulation software, the driving signals and the working state of the soft-switching tube in the circuit are simulated and analysed. The experimental results verify that the self-turning-off of the switching tube is achieved under the high-frequency soft-switching working condition. On-off loss is reduced.
