This paper proposed a sensitivity factors-based congestion management method for inter-regional electricity spot market in China. Implicit auctioning is adopted to manage the congestion on inter-regional UHVDC lines. When congestion occur on in-regional AC lines, the MW-flow of congestion AC line is modeled as the linear function of the MW-flow of inter-regional UHVDC lines by sensitivity analysis. By explicitly introducing the linear constraints of AC line congestion, the feasibility of inter-regional trading can be ensured by market clearing. The simulation on a 3-regions test system verifies the effectiveness and correctness of proposed method.
