With the expansion of power grid capacity, the improvement of voltage levels, and the improvement of transmission efficiency standards, the requirements of the power distribution system on the loss, temperature rise, load and other parameters of the power transformer in the power transmission and transformation equipment are also increasing. The energy-saving reliability of distribution transformers is the key to the safe, economical and environmentally-friendly operation of the distribution system. Based on the new 10kV high-energy-saving dry-type transformer developed by Guangdong Power Grid, this paper uses python to compile a dry-type transformer background monitoring and control system to monitor the temperature and operating parameters of the dry-type transformer. According to actual operating conditions, this project is based on the electromagnetic transient simulation program PSCAD/EMTDC, which simulates and verifies that the 10kV new high-energy-saving dry-type transformer equipped with on-load capacity and voltage regulation technology is beneficial to the voltage stability of the power distribution system. With the implementation of these technologies, the operational stability and reliability of 10kV dry-type distribution transformers will be improved, providing a guarantee for the safety of urban power supply.
