We propose an MMT-based multi-channel video transmission system with a synchronous processing architecture for consistent synchronization required in remote production. The video transmission system controls cameras and encoders on the basis of the UTC for the clock, GOP, and presentation synchronization. An evaluation experiment demonstrated that the fabricated video transmission system has an excellent potential to strongly support remote production by ensuring consistent synchronization from shooting to presentation, which is not achievable with the existing video transmission systems.
