The LED lighting adoption has resulted in lowering the energy consumption in both, consumer and commercial sectors (EIA, 2018; Penning, Stober, Taylor, & Yamada, 2016). The Light Emitting Diodes efficacy has been well documented (National Academies of Sciences & Medicine, 2015, 2017; Protzman & Houser, 2006); however, almost nothing has been written about the power electronics (LED Driver) circuitry efficiency.
