The stretchcd-vortex subgrid-scale model for large-eddy simulation is implemented in a fourth-order finite volume algorithm designed for compressible flows. Various forms of the model are tested using the Taylor-Green vortex case and the results are compared with one another for the purpose of evaluating the models in a non-spectral finite volume context.
