With the incremental use and development of the mobile device, mobile computing, and mobile application, a mobile device user must access the internet from everywhere. Enterprise Wireless LANs (E-WLANs), that is WiFi connectivity enabled by the university, airport, or other enterprise campus environment has become a prominent way of accessing the Internet in the urban area because of an easier and secure way of accessing network. To give better experiences to the user, E-WLANs are deployed densely and a user can be association range of multiple Access Point (AP). The traditional way of accessing AP for the user i.e., strongest RSSI based access would cause the imbalance of the number of user per AP which lead resource waste and reduction of overall network throughput and utilization. In this paper, we propose a scheme which aims to maximize the overall network throughput as well as utilization by considering diverse user demand and AP capacity. A relaxation algorithm is proposed where we consider relaxation and rounding techniques for the solution of the optimization problem. Our evaluation results indicate that the proposed algorithm is significantly superior in term of network throughput, utilization and fairness index.
