The seismic induced risk in Korea is found not to be negligible, but it is still under the high uncertainty. Still the seismic PSA has done an important role to confirm the safety of nuclear power plants and to reduce the risk from the uncertainty. Followings are recommended based on the observations above to enhance further use of seismic PSA. 1. The high uncertainty in the results of seismic PSA makes the decision for the seismic improvements quite difficult. It suggests the need for more deterministic criteria such as a review level earthquake. 2. The seismic PSA for the operating plants is scheduled to perform in long terms by one by one. But the insights from the seismic walkdown suggested that the seismic walkdown be performed as soon as possible for the remaining plants. 3. The significant impact on the assumption about the seismic capacity for small LOCA makes the need for consistent criteria about the capacity based on the consensus of related parties. 4. The high uncertainty in seismic hazard curve requires thorough study for the interpretation of history data and attenuation coefficient in long term.
