88.9-GHz W-Band Multi-Channel Integrated Fiber-Wireless Access Network with KK Coherent Receiver

摘要

A novel fiber-wireless integrated access system supporting multi-channel data transmission via the same network infrastructure was experimentally demonstrated with a proposed KK receiver over baseband/IF and W-band at 88.9GHz. By tuning the operating wavelength of the optical carrier, the signal is available to be transmitted over different frequency ranges with over 21 dB optical power margin, and the system can serve up to 128 subscribers.
