SAR tomography can be widely used in urban topographic mapping, target recognition, forest vertical structure acquisition, et al. According to different needs, this paper simulates and analyzes four SAR tomography algorithms in the elevation direction, such as Fourier transform, Capon, Burg and Inversion. On the three issues of imaging resolution, different target amplitude and nonuniform baseline, the simulation results of the four algorithms are compared. For different application requirements, the corresponding algorithm selection suggestions are proposed.
