This paper presents an accurate and fast piece-wise linear approach for real-time simulation of PV Arrays. The proposed method uses PV translation equations for all points of the I-V curve to map a reference model to any new environmental situation. The intermediate value theorem is used in the proposed approach to build the PV array model including series-parallel configuration of PV modules. The proposed modeling approach can provide a highly accurate model for PV arrays by using generated model from double-diode analytical model of PV modules. The simulation results are presented to validate the performance of the proposed algorithm.
